Pentecost Sunday

Make a special effort to join us for worship at 11 a.m. on Sunday May 31st for the celebration of Pentecost.
Pentecost is often called the birthday of the church because the feast - 50 days after Easter, "penta" means fifty - commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit on the first believers.
Today we are those people! God is giving us the Spirit that we need to be and become the people God has created us to be, through the resurrection of Christ.
Wear red! The liturgical color symbolizes both the fire of the Spirit and the forward movement of the church's mission.
A special guest, Luther Snow, will join us to help us see the many "affinities", overlapping interests and gifts that will direct and enhance our ministry together.
