We Welcome Rodney Smith - Seminarian

Join us in welcoming Rodney Smith our new Seminarian Intern. Rodney will be with us through the 2009-2010 academic year.
Rodney says, "I was born in New York and lived in New England for several years before moving to Philadelphia to attend the Lutheran Seminary. I have 2 wonderful daughters, Jessica and Sarah, and my wife Tawnya and I have been married for...wait, it’ll come to me, over eighteen years now! I have many personal interests ranging from film noire and cooking to playing the drums.
As you can imagine my strongest passion is for ministry; sharing the comfort and healing of the Gospel through action as well as with the spoken word. While goals do tend to modify over time, I have a strong desire for urban ministry with diverse congregations. Is it any wonder that St Luke and The Epiphany and I found each other?!"
